You might wanna consider becoming a vegetarian. Admittedly I am not a vegetarian but this video makes a strong impression.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is on the way. All around Christmas decorations are rising, shiny sparkling bulbs surround ornate trees. Parcels line the  bottom of my tree as well.

Only one thing is bugging me: Lately people and their immaturity is getting on my nerves. I mean everyone is being so whack, and what’s up with the texting language? Thirteen years on the earth and some teenagers still cannot spell. Hmm.  I like the T9 option for most phones, it makes everything a bit easier.

But back to immaturity. Politics to shopping, immaturity is there. Why, just recently, shoppers were so set on getting their little gifts that they killed a man in a rampage. I mean really!? (Forgive the irony, but it enhances my point). And this person who was the first is going to get punished? There were hundreds of people behind him. Police can’t possibly charge him can they? 

Another thing: Mockery. These days kids are on each others backs like never before. Sure all of us get annoyed and let something rude slip once and awhile, but going out of your way for no reason to make someone’s life miserable is just sad. That means your life sucks so much that you have to make others lives terrible to feel an ounce of sureness. It’s either that or the person thinks they are better then the victim; and this is ridiculous, we are all human. All imperfect in different ways, in this we are the same. 

The world would be a better place if we could grow up and start acting our age. Treating each other as equals. I’m not asking for something that cannot happen, such as world peace (I hope to write on that topic later) just a little gratitude.

Venting: Whats going on in your life lately? Problems? Successes? Well today is the day to just lay it all out and take a deep breathe.

I know when I get pissed, dissapointed, depressed, angry, happy; whatever it helps to vent and just say what is thats happening or happened. Just leave a comment. Let your voice be heard. Whether politics or life just let it all out.

Everett George

Former corrections officer Everett George  was sentenced to life imprisonment Monday.  He was convicted of murdering  his two children: Dominick a 12 year old boy and Kristina, a 1 year old girl. George maced Middleton as  she opened the door to leave. Everette entered the apartment and shot Dominick in the heart and executed Kristina as she sat in her high chair.

George Everett had worked as a corrections officer at  Rikers Island for year but quit in 1998. When he reapplied in 2000 he was fired just days into training.

Middleton, wearing a shirt with her children’s names and pictures testified saying “He would have killed her too, had his gun not jammed when he pointed it at her.

 “Your intentions were to annihilate my whole family, but God intervened.

 George Goltzer, Everett’s defensive lawyer argued the  pre-sentencing report that depicted  Everett as a “Charles Manson-type figure.

He said “Mr George is not a “Charles Manson.” He is a man who suffers from a mental illness.”

Goltzer argued that George was afflicted by “extreme mental disturbance when he killed Dominick who was autistic, and Kristina who was nicknamed cookie.

Goltzer stated ‘This is the saddest case I have ever seen, and I have been doing this for a very long time”

George was hoping for a sentence of 20 years to life, But even as  Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Gregory Carro sentenced him  to the hardest legal punishment  possible he still maintained an expressionless demeanor.

I don’t want you to be able to inflict this kind of pain on anyone else” said Middleton. “Now my children Dominick and Kristina, can rest in peace for what you have done to them.

In Fayettville Arkansas a man, Phillip Sherman is suing Mcdonalds over nude pictures of his wife on the Internet. Phillip Sherman had taken nude pictures of his wife with his cell phone. The mistake he made was that he did not delete them before arriving at Mcdonalds for a meal unfortunately he accidentally left his phone behind when he exited. The phone was then found by someone unaware of the contents. But they we’re in for a surprise. Apparently once they found the photos they uploaded them on the Internet and as we all know; once you post a picture on the Internet there’s no taking it back, everyone can see it.

Now Mr. and Mrs. Sherman are suing Mcdonalds for a reported $3 million! Your probably wondering how that worked out. Well when he misplaced in July he was assured the employees would find it and keep it safe until he returned to claim it. Obviously that was not the case. So now Phillip and Tina Sherman are directing the blame on the employees of Mcdonalds. They’re including the total costs of embaressment, suffering and moving to a new home. So the moral of this story? If you take nude photos of your spouse make sure to keep them safe or they might just end up on the Internet.

The new G1 or Google Phone has been launched! The G1 is a breed of it’s own, and should not be considered the same class as the I-phone. With it’s Price checking capability and QWERTY keyboard it is a whole new class. Starting costs for this delectable phone begin at $175 for T-mobile customers others however, must pay a total of $400 big ones. It seems like a high price to pay but trust me once you see whats under the hood you will agree it is well worth your money. Plus it will take the place of all those bulky devices, so less to worry about. I’ll start with the most basic features (I’ll explain what each does for the phone challenged ). Okay to start, the appearance may not be all that appealing underneath, but don’t judge a phone by it’s cover. The G1 comes equipped with both a touch screen and QWERTY keyboard, but don’t worry it won’t take up any extra space all you need to do is slide the screen up and “whala” you may text away. 

I attend advanced advanced science class. This week we had an electric opportunity. Our teacher brought in a device called a Ven De Graffe generator like the one shown in the picture; though it was a bit less sinister looking. He let us each take turns putting our hands on it, so that our hair stood on end. Unlike most others, I however, was eager to put my hand near it and get shocked. It was a lot of fun. A bolt would shoot out and make contact with your skin. It’s static electricity so it’s not a constant flow, and therefore doesn’t present much danger. As I said we did this for a number of days. I don’t know why but electric experiments tend to bring our class closer together for a short period. Hmmm perhaps it stimulates our brains to a state of euphoria. Maybe I should publish that into a theory! Anyway today we did it and I took part in a number of experiments. Once I got my fingertips wet and put my hand over the generator. The cool thing was it wasn’t dripping it started to form tips on my fingers! For another I put one hand on the generator and another on chairs bolt and had a kid touch another part of the chair, whaddaya know it shocked him. I put my head near it and got shocked. I even shocked my tongue! I must sound like a maniac. I’m perfectly sane, I promise. This activity brought me closer to my friends as I stated before. But trust me this act is not for the squeamish. If your standing anywhere near it you  can get shocked. Its in the very air. So if you partake in an electric experiment don’t be afraid if your friend shocks you it might just be an “accident”. If you stand near it long enough you build up a charge and act as a temporary extension of the devices electricity so the first time you touch something metal you’ll get a small shock. Don’t worry it wears off. Overall this was a really fun science experiment.
